FALL 07 & SPRING 08
Attendance:
Regular class attendance is very important to your dancer’s progress.
However, if your child must miss a class please notify the office. You
may schedule a make-up class with your child’s teacher for the class
they miss. If your child should miss more than three consecutive class
times and the office is not notified, the student will automatically be
withdrawn from the studio. However,
you will still be responsible for all fees and tuitions until we are otherwise
notified in writing.

Class Information:
The following classes are part of our recreational program. This program
is geared for the very young dancer, the beginner student, or those children
interested in dancing just for fun.
PS A – 3 Year olds: 45 minute class that uses music and creative
movement to teach dance basics. Class focuses on basic muscle memory skills,
musicality, and proper terminology. Although dance steps in tap and ballet
are taught, tap shoes are not used for this level. Simple tumbling and
gymnastic type movement is also incorporated in this class.
PS B – 4 Year olds: 45 minute class that uses music and creative
movement to teach dance basics. Class focuses on basic muscle memory skills,
musicality, and proper terminology in ballet and tap techniques. Class
is geared toward the slightly older child and incorporates the use of
tap shoes for the tap portion of the class.
KG – 5 Year olds: 45 minute class. Class focuses on basic muscle
memory skills, musicality, and proper terminology.

7 year old dancer. Ballet barre exercises are worked more in depth as

classes” and the conservatory dancer.

of classical ballet. This 45-minute class gives children an opportunity
to experience a REAL ballet class. Classical music is used for all exercises.

Tap/Jazz I – 7 and older: This tap and jazz combination class is
a great introduction to the world of dance for the beginner dancer. Dancers
learn techniques of both jazz and tap.

for the beginner dancer.
Hip Hop – 7 and up: Perfect class for anyone! Funky street jazz
that challenges the body and brain.
