Recital Information

We offer a yearly recital to our students. Recital is scheduled for June 12th & 13th. We will have a staging rehearsal on June 10th and a dress rehearsal on June 11th. All dancers participating in the recital must attend both rehearsals and both performances. Although this is a children's recital, we strive to make our productions as professional as possible so that everyone involved will enjoy themselves. The following are guidelines for our productions:

1) Children participating in our production must be on time for all rehearsals and performance times.
2) There is no videography nor photography allowed during the performances. This is to ensure the safety of our performers. You may video and take pictures during the dress rehearsal.
3) All performers must remain in their dressing room until the show is completely over. This is for several reasons. First all dancers appear in the grand finale at the end of the show. We need the dancers accessible to bring them back out for the end. Secondly, the studio is responsible for each and everyone of the performers. Please help us keep all children from getting lost by leaving them with the room mother until the show is over. Thirdly, help us teach your children to be a supportive audience participant by sitting through everyone's performance. Remember other parents sat and enjoyed your child's performance, please show them the same courtesy. Furthermore it would be distracting and rude to everyone if parents were constantly getting up and down during the performance.
4) There is no food or drink allowed in the dressing rooms or in the auditorium.
5) Dancers will not be allowed in the auditorium before the show starts in costume.
6) Only those parents signed up to work during the show will be allowed in the backstage area. If you are not helping with the performance, please drop your child off in their appropriate dressing room and then go sit and enjoy the show. We have a limited amount of space in the backstage area. Help us keep it clear to ensure everyone's safety.
7) We offer two performances so that parents have the opportunity to help out with one show and sit and enjoy the performance the other night. Please sign up to help out.
8) Parents must sign dancers in and out during the performance nights. Please be sure the same parent signs in and out. This enables us to keep track of all children and be sure they get home safely with their moms and dads.

Recital Fees: $40 single participation fee which entitles you to 4 complimentary tickets to the night of your choosing or $65 family participation fee for those families with more then one dancer in them. Your family fee entitles you to 7 complimentary tickets to the night of your choosing. All participation fees are due by March 1, 2009.
Costume Fees: Costumes are $50 per dancer per dance. For families with dancers in 3 or more dances take 5% off total. Half of your costume fee is due by October 1st with the balance due by November 1st. We will NOT order your child a costume until all costume fees are paid!!

Please remember that recital is voluntary. In order to ensure your child's participation in our production please be sure to bring in your "Recital Agreement" with your first costume payment on October 1st.
Costumes are ordered December 15th. All fee's for recital are non-refundable after December 1st. If you decide not to participate in the production after December 1st you are still responsible for all costume and participation fee's!
